Lisa Brown talks to Dorian Payne In this episode Dorian talks about his experience developing property for housing associations, he gives some great practical advice about working with housing associations, developing adapted property for people with disabilities. Dorian refers to RSLs this is the abbreviation for Registered Social Landlord and is the term used to refer to a registered housing association in Wales.
Dorian Payne – Co-Founder at Castell Group, a property development company based in Wales, specialising in delivering high quality affordable, social and disabled homes. Dorian has been active within the property sector since aged 16, being involved in over 80 acquisitions to date. Dorian has collaborated with a variety of private investors, having raised over £7M to date and has built a secured development pipeline of over 220 high quality, affordable, social and disabled homes with a GDV in excess of £35m.
Lisa Brown became a property developer after her nursing career. She then discovered the need for supported living property and has been exploring the challenges and solutions, to create more homes for those with support needs, ever since.
