In this episode Kerri Douglas shares her experience of sleeping on the streets from 13 years old and her experience of living in various diff supported living settings. Her story contains much sadness and tells of many failings in the system but she also explains how the right support made all the difference to her. She shares her amazing story as she wants to be a “voice of hope” and wants to help everyone understand how people deserve and need second chances. She now has many plans to use her own experience to make a difference to peoples lives. Kerri is incredible and this inspiring story of how she turns her life around is one not to miss.
Kerri is a full time single mother, author, blogger, podcaster and homelessness activist, with long term lived experience of rough sleeping.
